At first, I thought the band was designed strange, but now I love it. First slide the part of the band with the wholes into the part with the clasp. Insert the clasp firmly into the whole that is the best fit. Kind of press it in there to make sure it is in and then simply slide the extra length of the band underneath the bottom part. It takes a little effort to learn but is much better than bands with loops.
