Customers are saying

Customers praise the Galaxy Fit Activity Tracker + Heart Rate for its excellent battery life, ease of use, and comfortable size. Many appreciate the accurate sleep and step tracking, along with the device's lightweight design and ability to receive phone notifications. However, some users experienced issues with the band breaking or compatibility problems with non-Samsung phones. A few also felt the features were somewhat limited compared to other fitness trackers.

Light weight and comfortable on wrist with accurate readings of steps and heart rate. It also has a sleep tracking feature that is pretty cool and plausible since I can sleep in the watch. I charge it every 4-5 days so the battery life is perfect. After about a month of use I haven’t had any complaints. It tracks my workouts and is fairly customizable. I prefer it over a FitBit.

This sleek and simple fitness tracker was exactly what I was looking for. Very accurate in steps, heart rate, sleep activity, and extremely customizable. As you would expect, the setup and syncing are seamless with a Galaxy. It is also extremely lightweight and comfortable - sometimes I forget I am wearing it, to be honest. The battery life is also phenomenal compared with other wearables I've used in the past, which can honestly last close to week depending on your settings. While I wish the body was metal, the build quality is solid and I can understand the alternative at this price point. The AMOLED screen is small but strong and crystal clear. In short, this thing rarely leaves my wrist, and I've been extremely happy with the purchase.

    It Survived This Long

Simple, compact smartwatch that has seen much abuse but still works as well as the day I bought it. It's got paint stained into the crevices from being submerged in paint (I worked at a paint store for a while) and dirt from frequent gardening. Its been with me on swims and hikes and various other dumb activities and its still kicking a year later. Downsides are the battery, which needs a good 2.5 hours to charge every 4 days regardless of use. That and if you lose it, the watch doesn't make sound, and is only capable of vibrating. The band broke once on me, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is super easy and cheap to replace. It can be used to deny calls and check notifications (not in detail, but its enough), and is perfect for minimalists who want a fairly accurate pedometer/heart rate monitor.

Counts your steps, you can record your excercise, alerts you of messages, emails, the weather, show time, temperature and more. This Samsung wearable does almost everything a smart watch will do. Its comfortable and durable at an affordable price!

The Software is decent, I wish it had NFC Samsung Pay, the battery is also decent. The biggest problem with it is that the band is not big enough, its not comfortable and its very FRAGILE. I have to use the last hole on the band to get it around my wrist. I have already BROKEN 2 bands and will not be buying a 3rd so I consider this a waste of $100. I did buy the MI Band 4, the band is much bigger and more comfortable but I like the SW better on the Fit. In a perfect world I wish you could combine the band from the MI 4 with the FIT watch and have Samsung Pay built in. The MI Band 4 battery is way better however I did get 5-7 days off of the FIT before having to charge it so that is a non-factor for me.

All of the features work well except the sleep record. Its stops tracking your sleep for 3 to 5 hours almost every night. See screen shot. The other problem is that the band is too small. I had to make an extra hole to fit my wrist.

Very poor quality!!! The band fell apart just after two months. The Samsung warranty is totally a joke! The Samsung representatives were extremely rude! They initially refused to do anything and claimed that it was physical damage which’s not under warranty. After arguing with the reps for two hours, they reluctantly decided to send us only the replacement band. How cheap is that! No more Samsung!!!

Bought this to use at my gym while my Active is during normal day to day. Super easy to clean and shower proof. I wish the app was better about switching between two devices however I bet my situation is in the minority. Overall the unit is great, holds up well. Wearing on my left wrist and the button is facing me makes sure I don't accidentally pause my workout like my Active would. Battery life is great, charge it once a week, slim and comfortable.

I bought this for my girl and it is a nice tracker for her. Although, she is not a huge fitness enthusiast like me the time and distance and sleep tracking are good tools for her. Oh, and did I mention it water proof? I got for our time at the pool and beach! She likes the color and the charge lasts for days. It's a useful tracker for things she wants. And the price was nice!!

If you want a small compact smart watch, this is it. It has lots of features and a long battery life. It's easy to set up. The wrist band is a bit annoying, but you can get past that. It's great for swimming and keeps track of laps. I bought it for my 10 year old, but it's great for any age.

I owned a Gear Fit 2 Pro until it went kaput after about 1 year, so I got this as a replacement. Much of this review is a comparison of this model to the Gear Fit 2 Pro. The battery life is incredible. I can now wear it full time, instead of part time. I believe the people who say they only charge it every few days. No problems at all having is last all day (I think it could maybe make it a whole weekend). The one size is a nice size, and I don't feel weird wearing it on one wrist and a traditional watch on the other wrist. It comes with a band that probably fits most average size wrists for men and women. but if you have a large wrist, you probably will need to buy an extra long band. It's a bit thick, but not too much that it's feels chunky or that it's catching on things. The heart rate monitor is much improved, and the "bump" on the underside of the watch seems to help with that. The controls are much improved, and the one side button plus screen swiping is much simpler to use than the confusing two buttons on the GF2P. The screen is small, but it almost looks clearer than the larger screen on the GF2P. No apps per se, but you can do alarms and exercise monitoring, which are really nice features. Notifications are very good, including text notifications, and you are able to customize them. The speed of swiping between screens is very snapy, and a big improvement over the GF2P. There are only a few cons: no more downloadable watch faces, no more apps (though they weren't that great), can't view MMS pictures any more, and mo more wi-fi connectivity. Overall: This is a much better, simpler, faster, more efficient, and better-sized product than the Gear Fit 2 Pro. At $100 it's a good value. Buy one and enjoy!

I wasn't sure I really wanted a fitness tracker, but I saw this when it was on sale and thought I'd give it a try. I absolutely love it! Not only does it keep track of steps, calories burned, and heart rate, it's also waterproof and receives notifications from my phone. It's very comfortable on my wrist. The only negative is the band - it's a little tricky to put on and off, but it has gotten easier over time.

I bought this Gear Fit to replace my older GEAR FIT Pro 2. I wasn't sure about it, since it is smaller then the gear fit pro 2 and I thought it might have less features. I have had it for about 2 weeks and it works even better then I expected. I walk about 10,000 steps per day and I also use a Dakota 20 GPS, to track my speed and distance. My old gear fit wasn't very accurate but it did the job. This new Gear Fit is very accurate. It mirrors my GPS when I walk and keeps a better record of my total daily activity. It has more features then the old one and very easy to program. I was also concerned about the band, from previous reviews but I am getting used to it. It is a little difficult to put on but isn't too bad once you get the hang of it. I have had several fitness trackers since they first came out and I think this is by far the best one. The price was also a plus, way cheaper then my old gear fit pro 2.

Bought this for my mom as a simple fitness tracker after a previous model died. She likes how sleek and small it is, as well as functional and easy to use. She tracks steps and calories burned with it as part of her daily routine. It also lets her stay in touch during the day, since she's not supposed to have her phone in her classroom. But she can receive texts and alerts on her watch if she needs to, in case of emergency.

I traded in a Fitbit watch that I received as a gift because it wouldn't work with my Samsung phone or my Samsung Health app. The Samsung Galaxy Fit watch I bought in it's place has exceeded my expectations and works even better than my old Gearfit! Great sleep tracking, sleek design and great price! The band was a bit cumbersome, so I bought a compatible watch band on Amazon and fits great.
