“Is this watch water resistant? Is the watch capable of going in the shower or rain without damage?”

• Rain and splash like ok, showers are not recommended but might work. Swimming or other no way! This is based on their rating think it was ip55. Reviews say shower might be ok but I wouldn't even try that.

• The Galaxy Gear is designed to IP55 specifications with dust resistance and protection from short-term exposure to water jets. Shower, hm maybe but why??? Don't push your luck. lol Light rain, yes. A heavy hurricane-force downpour - probably not.

• The watch is IP55 rated. It is not waterproof, however, should handle short exposure to light water splashes. Wouldn't recommend showering with it. Purchase the 2 year warranty for 39.99. Peace of mind

• From what I have read it is water resitant meaning it can handle rain and being splashed from handwashing. I don't think I would chance a shower though.

• This watch does not have water resistance listed as a feature. I would not recommend taking it in the shower, and would suggest shielding it from rain to the best of your abilities.
