I have lost my Galaxy J7 phone more than a dozen times. It appears not to want to stay with me. The last time it was lost, I called Tracfone and had the phone number and information on it blocked. I'll never do that again--it takes 72 hours from the time the owner finds the phone until it's ready to use again, and I lost all my pictures and some of the settings. I tried a lot of things to find it, none of them worked, so I don't think there's anything in the phone itself that leads the owner to it, such as a "chip" on a lost dog or cat. Maybe we should write the Samsung and suggest this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, you need to go into settings and then into the biometrics and security tab. Under Security there is a tab for Find My Device. I would think you just need to follow the directions it gives you from there to set it up.
