• Interesting question. I'd give it a shot. Since a card reader transfers data to a computer via USB, all you're doing is making it fit a micro USB. That charging port uses half contacts for charging, half for data. And since it syncs through there, that means it can issue or receive data through there. Should work

• Yes, that's what I do with mine. I have a ton of service manuals on flash drives that now I can plug in & use easily.

• It should as I believe the Tab 3 supports USB OTG.
