You don't need to copy media (movies, music, picture) files off the SD card onto the device memory like an IPad. This would defeat the purpose of having that extra storage you can get from the SD card. However, apps are more restrictive and most need to live on the internal storage of the device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can can play movies (MP4) on SD card and view directly from card. I have about 30 movies on 64 GB SD card. Video players shows you movies with live thumbnails, pretty cool. You will not be able to save Google movies to the card, internal memory only an internal memory is half used when you get it, so limited downloads. I've only been able to save 4 Google movies.
