“If you can only use it with at&t , do they offer a no contract opption for purchasing the phone or is there another advantage to owning the phone?”

• You can get the phone through the AT&T NEXT program... you pay a monthly installment fee (or in other words you finance the phone with no interest)

• att in general has become more abroad or more full-spectrum with their availability of phones across the go, regular 2-year and next plans. Check out what they have in stores... I think you may be surprised to see they have really been able to deliver to all demographics.
