• YES, if You are in other state yes. If you gonna change or keep the area code you need call the carrier. Sometimes fees apply.

• Yes you can keep your same number. If your porting over from another carrier you will need the account number and pin number. If a subsidiary of a major phone carrier, example going Cricket to AT&T or the other way around you will have to get a new number then port contact the new carrier to continue the port over.
