As explained to me by a Best Buy employee who set up my phone. Best Buy will not match the price because each provider sets their own price. So, depending on your provider determines what you will pay. I asked the same thing when I noticed the Note 8 cheaper on Amazon.

Usually you get more stuff from carrier like right now I could get activation fee waived going thru carrier. I'm still going thru best buy though because I like their CS and you can purchase their ins for device instead of sprints and still call sprint to get activation fee waived.
