Is the galaxy s 4 really water proof? null

The Galaxy S4 is not waterproof, the Galaxy S4 ACTIVE must be the one you are referring to. The Galaxy S4 active is water resistant which is different that being totally waterproof.

No, the s4 active IS and has an under water camera mode. The s5 is kinda water proof.

The Galaxy S4 Active is water proof for a few minutes in upto 3 feet of water.

So far so good. I have not put the phone to the test but I have wiped the screen with an alcohol pad.

It is not waterproof and something as simple as using it as an mp3 player in the bathroom as you shower will cause it to malfunction because of the steam.

The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is not water proof or water-resistant; however, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 Active is water-resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. I hope that helps!
