Yes it should, they both use nano sim cards. The only way it might not is if the J7 you have was purchased with the plan itself and not unlocked as well, if it has the carrier "Splash screen" as in you see the cell phone provider pop up when the phone is booting up, you may have to go to the store in order to get another sim card from them. Reason being is because they lock their sim cards to the specific device, unless your device is unlocked. Hopefully this helps!
