Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The purchase is through Best Buy, but the Earbuds promotion is through Samsung. You have to register for the promotion through the Shop Samsung app on the new S10. Samsung handles the rest. It looks like it shouldn't matter. Side note: I had to return two S10+ because I switched from Verizon to AT&T and their network didn't work for us. Went back to Verizon and got the same phones directly from Verizon, and the earbuds still arrived a few days later.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, because Samsung sent the Galaxy Buds, they won't know you returned the phone. When we bought an unlocked Note 8,, my wife signed up to get the free stuff. Then a few days later we realized that we couldn't use any ATT features, so we swapped it for an ATT version and she signed up again to get the free stuff, thinking Samsung would cancel the first order, but they did not.
