A:AnswerDid you read the advertisement from Best Buy? if you did that’s a promotion with Best Buy. Verizon hasTheir promotions. Etc. Just because you see a promotion on Best Buy doesn’t mean that you can go into a Verizon and get a promotion you saw advertised at Best Buy. You need to go to Best Buy to get that promotion. Oh I said some
A:AnswerI did not change my data plan.
The only thing required to take full advantage of the savings is use the periodic payment plan. Best Buy makes periodic contributions to your payment reducing your cost. If you should decide to pay off the no interest payment early, you would lose out on Best Buy's contributions.
A:AnswerThis is just my layman's perspective, but here it goes. The way the discount is set-up means you get a few bucks (~$13) knocked off of each payment to Verizon, not as a lump sum. So there are 24 payments in the 2 year contract which means you get a little bit off of each payment that will eventually add up to $300, BUT if you decide to pay it off early or pay for the whole thing outright you will miss out on some or all of the discount. Why do this? My guess is that Verizon wants to guarantee you will be on their service for two years, in exchange for a cheaper phone. Otherwise you will pay the whole price of the phone if you decide to switch or pay it off early.
A:AnswerThis one I am not positive but IF the phone that you replace is eligible for upgrade, then you should be OK. There is a $40 upgrade fee thought.
