Verizon is my carrier and I transferred everything from an LGG6 to a Samsung S10e using the Smart Switch app. Everything transferred to the new phone, including all text messages. The phone tech at Best Buy assisted and was a great help.

Files, contacts, and text messages came across without a glitch. I don't think she'll be disappointed. Another option is to download the Email My Texts app. and use it before transferring her data. She can get a copy of all her text messages sent right to her email. She won't lose anything. Get the S10e. I think she'll be very happy with it.
