• Yes, I did an on line purchase earlier today and it gave me the option for an upgrade to my current Verizon account.

• Yes, you can use your existing number. However, only one phone can have that number, so assigning it to this phone would disable it on your old phone. If you have trouble assigning the number to this phone, go online to Verizon's tech help. They're really good -- I mistakenly swapped the pre-installed 5G SIM out for a standard one that Best Buy threw into the bag, which screwed up the number assignment, and they had it all fixed in 15 minutes.
