• I got mine unlocked and had to call my provider to switch my phone line to the new phone. I tried just putting the SIM card in, but it’s not as easy. They have to change in their system that you’re using a new phone. It’s easy as calling and getting the new phone activated. Hope this helps.

• If your switching from another 5g phone to this, chip should be good to go. If your switching from a 4g to a 5g, then you need to go to your carriers closest store and get a 5g chip. Usually free and they will just download your number to new chip then good to go
