I couldn't use my credit on the phone when I purchased it in the store. I could only apply it to the accessories, case and screen protector.

I was able to get my S6 for free after the Verizon discounts and gift cards from Best Buy. $0 out of pocket for 2 Galaxy S6s. Online... Just go to the local store or call for assistance!

If this isn't an option, you could try calling Best Buy and purchasing it over the phone, in which case you might be able to redeem it right away.

In other words, unfortunately I don't believe you can use it towards your purchase of the phone as I tried to do that in store one time and thats the information they gave me.
