You can order a cover for it that includes an sd card slot. I believe it is either 80 or 90 bucks.

No, but I don't think you will need it. If we go on vacation it will hold a lot of pictures. However, we always carry a laptop on vacation so it is no big deal to download and free up memory. If you take a lot of pictures like we do you will be surprised at the speed of this phone.

I don't believe so. Samsung went the same route as the iPhone were you can't remove the back cover of the phone.
