A:AnswerThey don't sell cases for it because the phone is actually made with the case on it. They didn't recommend or try to sell me a screen cover for it when I purchased it but I don't have one on it and it's done perfectly fine and I have no single scratch on it.
A:AnswerIf the unactivated phone is unlocked and is a GSM phone yes it will work, otherwise to make it work U have to unlock it. There are websites that unlock GSM phones at a little cost.
A:AnswerThe AT&Tsales rep at the Best Buy that I just went to and added a line and up graded another, had told me that they can not do the 2 year contracts and only had the option of selling on the NEXT plan, or selling the phones at full price with no installment plan. I know on the AT&T website, you do have an option at the top to "see other pricing options" and if selected, 2 year contract pricing and up grades will show. I'm not sure if you are already using AT&T, and if you are, what plan you are on.....But if you have the mobile share, and opt to do 2 year contract to get your phone cheaper, please make sure to take into consideration that if your line is not the primary line, any added lines are now $40 a month. If you do the Next Plan, they give you a $25 bill credit every month, making the added line only $15 a month. That $25 credit over the coarse of 24 months is equilivant to $600, so make sure if you are signing a new 2 year contract to get a phone for cheaper, that you are getting at least $600 off the full retail price of the phone. When the Rep broke it down for me, he printed off the total cost for both ways, and it was actually cheaper over a 2 year period to go with the Next Plan. Good Luck!!
A:AnswerThis product is designed as an active lifestyle phone. It has many new features internally to keep water and dirt out and keep the phone from being damaged.
A:AnswerMine has been very good and I travel in some very rural areas which typically don't have much service. Had a rugby pro before and this is much better.
A:AnswerSince you don't know much about phones and you live in Australia, before you buy make sure you know what technology your carrier uses GSM or CDMA. The phones that work for one won't work on the other unless you have a dual use phone. AT&T uses GSM here and that determines the Sim card. I believe that dual use phones use two sim cards, and that GSM can be unlocked and move between carriers. (Again here.) But please check it out with your carrier.
Also, Sim cards come in different sizes. However, make sure you saved to your Sim card and not just the phone memory and backup to a PC or the cloud. The people that sell you the phone, or the carrier should be able to transfer just about all your information, contacts, etc. Ask them about your pictures. Many of your apps may not be up to the operating system and have to be reloaded. And some won't come over. Good Luck.
