What do they mean by 2 year contract? By buying this phone do I have to activate it and get a contract with best buy or why does it say that? I never shopped here online before. I have boost, and I wanted to go activate it over there, can I or no?

Yes u are signing two year contract..if u want to stop service..u will be charge a service fee...for breaking the contract..

2 year contract through provider, not best buy

You have to sign a new contract with Sprint, which, depending on what you owe to Boost, they may buy you out of your contract. There's a lot to it, and I'd recommend going into Best Buy and talking to their cell phone people. They made it was easier than online for either Sprint or Best Buy. We also got better deals by going in person.

Go directly to the store and have them explain in detail. They have a samsung booth in the store. They will answer any and all questions

It means you would be in a contract with Sprint's service for 24 months. You wouldn't be able to use Boost and buy the phone at the contract or installment prices.
