You do need your I'd but if you don't have credit I'm not sure if you can get approved. You'll have to go there to see.

If you are wanting to do the $199 for the phone, that is doing a contract with the company and yes they go by credit. Most likely you will have to put down a refundable $400+ deposit to start your line. With activation fees and taxes, altogether you will be paying roughly $700. You could lease the phone but that will require a deposit as well. Either way you will be spending a lot to start your service.
