• Hi, this is a fully unlocked phone. So all you will need is the sim card. Metro PCS will activate the sim for you.

• I can’t say with 100% certainty but I believe they are both GSM networks. I bought the phone for my wife who has t-mobile. All we did was insert her old SIM card and it worked. This should be the case with metro psc aswell. If you buy from a Best Buy store, they can tell you for sure.
