• The battery cover cannot be opened. The slot for the SIM card also has a slot for the micro SD card.

• Correct, the back cover does not come off like it does on a Galaxy S5 or earlier. The battery is not removable or replaceable. The memory card and the sim card sit together in the same tray. The tray slides out of the top edge of the phone. I will say that the battery life on mine has been quite good. This phone seems much better at making sure apps don't waste battery in the background or on standby.

• You can not replace battery but you can a new sim card or use your sim card with your new phone.

• The tray for the microSD card and SIM card is the same. The back cover cannot be opened to replace the battery.
