Yes you can. Choose your network when you buy card.Verizon or ATT. Card cost $10.00 at Target but Consumer rebates on first bill. I went with ATT with no problems. So much cheaper than being tied to ATT. I see no reason to buy an unlocked phone and then take to maj. carrier.

My guess is No. None of the MNVO cell phone companies we tried to get service with would accept it. They know what phone it is by it's serial number. They want you to HAVE to buy their phone.
