• I think the $450 gift card special is over. I saw they are now doing a $300 gift card. And no you can't use the gift card to purchase the phone, you must lease it.

• I received the $450 gift cards recently when I upgraded to the S7 (Verizon). The $200 trade-in gift card was immediately applicable toward the S7 but the $250 S7 purchase related gift card was not - it was good toward a future Best Buy purchase only.
