They don't have contracts anymore. You buy the phone or lease it. 650 bucks

Sprint charged my husband $189 (had a Best Buy Rewards Certificate) and $199 for me for the phone and allowed us to keep our current plan (unlimited everything). We have been customers for 6 years. I think they will allow you to keep your original plan in most cases but always ask. I did not do it this time but I also usually ask them to waive the $30 fee and they usually will.
