If you order your phone through Best buy you will be able to keep your plan, Best buy will link them together. Best to get a Best buy employee to help you w the process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be able to keep your same plan. It's just a device upgrade. However, if you have an older plan, there MIGHT be a chance you'll have to change something. You might want to call Verizon to find out for sure as all plans are different. With regards to activation, once you activate with Verizon, you make your phone payments through Verizon--they're added onto your bill every month. You COULD open a Best Buy Credit Card account and buy the device full price and pay it off that way, though.

I upgraded one of the lines to the S8 Plus with a pre-order thru BestBuy. Once I picked up the phone from the store, I just put in the SIM card from the old device I was upgrading from (line still active of course) and that was it! No having to call or notify anyone. I just went thru the device setup and had service as soon as it was done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This applies to my Verizon experience. You can keep your plan. Activation is as simple as turning off your old phone, then turning on the new phone and going through the simple setup. You don't even have to switch the SIM card. Took me about 2 minutes. Best buy collects the sales tax, Verizon does the monthly billing.
