No. The versions.in store are locked to the carrier. The AT&T version is locked and will only work on their network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be very careful. I bought a T-Mobile Note 7 last year from Samsung directly intending to use it on Cricket (AT&T) network. I was assurred by Samsung customer support that T-Mobile would gladly unlock the phone upon arrival. WRONG!!!! I argued with T-Mobile AND Samsung and neither would help, of course until I reported both to the FCC. Suddenly T-Mobile was willing to help. It was a huge huge deal. Point being, AT&T I've been told is better to deal with regarding unlocking a phone (meaning that it is unlocked in a way that allows you to use it on any compatible network) as compared to T-Mobile, but just don't get yourself in the bind I was in. Buy a T-Mobile compatible phone thru Samsung and be done with it. If you really want to use your gift card, you'll need to make sure that somebody at Best Buy will FOR SURE get it unlocked for you. We are at the mercy of these phone companies to do what is right.

If you order the phone from AT&T, you will have to check with t-mobile, and see if they'll let you use it on their service. Or, you could pay for an s8 at t-mobile, and use the gift card you have to buy accessories for your s8.
