it can be traded in best buy as long as it doesn't have a contract to any carrier

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not buy an unlocked phone, but I did consider trading in my old S6. I would have traded that in to Best Buy when buying my new S8. I got a price on my trade in, but with the difference it made on a monthly payment, I decided just to keep it. I think if I do a factory reset it will eliminate the turning off glitch that I had with the S6.. And I can still use it on my Wi-Fi at home. So I think the actual answer to this question is that you would trade it in to Best Buy and not send it to Samsung.
