Yes you can do that as that is what I just did. I got the S7 Edge last spring on a 24 month lease but had early upgrade after 12 months/payments with the Galaxy Forever. I pre-ordered and received my S8+ with 24 month installment billing, then returned my S7 Edge back to Sprint
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes... Cuz that's what happened to me. I had the galaxy 7Edge (lease) last year and now I have the 8+ under the installment plan... So I had to return my 7 edge within 14 days of Receiving the galaxy 8+. Now I get to keep the 8+ after 24 months of the plan.
