- Answer you can buy it unlocked and then use any active sim card in the phone. My dad recently took a trip to Europe and swapped out his Verizon sim card for the one they sold him in Europe. It worked perfectly fine.

QuestionThe current deal is to "Activate today with Verizon and it only charges 569.99". If I buy it this way I will have no problem in switching it to my carrier right away when it arrives, correct? And will I have to pay any charges to Verizon?

- Answer I have done that, and it was way cheaper to buy it unlocked and keep my current plan with T-Mobile. Also, as my Credit Card is 0% interest and offers full insurance for my phone, I just paid the whole thing with it and now I can choose how much I want to pay every month on that card. Great deal for me and my wife

- Answer You won't get any of the At&t apps that they have if you buy from At&t directly. I didn't like all their apps on my old phone.
