- Answer The S pen doesn't work on the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. The S pen will only work on tablets that have a responsive magnetic screen.

- Answer Yes if you get a Tablet with LTE 4 in it.That's from your wireless carrier(sprint,at&t,Verizon)..Otherwise to get it anyplace anywhere . you need to use public/home Wi-Fi connections..Which most all tablets have these days..

- Answer Yes, I'd go for the Tab 3 8" or 10" which are both cheaper than the Ipad. The same reasons you went with the S4 instead of the Iphone is the same reason you should switch to the Galaxy tablet. I wouldn't trade it in if you don't get enough to just about cover the price of the tablet and also consider the Tab 3 8" on amazon is only $249.

QuestionWhat version of Android is on the 8" Tab 3? Isn't it supposed to be 4.2.2? But specs say 4.1.2.If preloaded version is 4.1.2, is an update to 4.2+ immediately available?

- Answer It will update to 4.2.2 after running for a bit. along with the other programs that go with 4.2.2... But NOT 5.0 lollipop..YET!

- Answer The T-Mobile store should sell tablets that are compatible with their network. Not sure if it is available for the Galaxy Tab 3. Maybe for the Note 8.0.

- Answer When you register your tablet at Samsung's website from your tablet, you will receive an email with links to redeem the credits. It was worth it. But it is only 3 months for Hulu.

- Answer No. It does have Polaris Office which is Compatible with word and other Microsoft Office programs. The Surface might be better if you are going to do a lot of typing, etc. The Tab 3 is more for entertainment. The Note 8 might be a better choice if house want the freedom to write free hand.

- Answer There is an instruction manual(small,but there)in with packaging it does demonstrate how to load email and apps, photos etc , if this isnt help ful click on the main screen microphone icon and ask for tab 3 tutorial or help and it will pull up a menu for you.
