“I intend to purchase one in NYC when i visit this coming month, i need to know the power rating , I will be using it in the USA whilst there but then in the UK, will need a UK adapter but is it dual rated up to 240volts and self seeking on power? thnks”

2017 Tab A user manual says charging adapter that comes with the tablet is dual 120/240 and automatically recognizes the voltage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The adapter is continent and connection specific. I.e. one purchased in the US will be a two prong 110/120v 60hz US specific. You can use an adapter when you go two other nonstandard grids and connections. I've used my devices everywhere except Africa, China, and Russia; the adapters work flawlessly.
