- Answer This is not truly the 2018 latest model. Don't let Best Buy full you. I had to return mine after my daughter opened on Christmas and saw that it was not the same as her brother's which we've had since June that is the 2018 latest model.

- Answer It comes pre-loaded with Bixby assistant and will respond to voice "Okay Google … find xxxxx" I have not tried it with a true "talk-to-txt" app, but it seems like it should work since voice recognition is required for Bixby.

It is not a phone, so in the purchase of a tablet, a person loses the phone services with a provider. It can be used in the capacity of a phone using Apps like Skype and WhstsApp.

- Answer No it washs out.A good tablet(which i own is the kindle Fire 8" tablet which is great in sunlight,and one i recommend for reading.And it,s cheaper than Galaxy,but sadly uses the Amazon System.The "Showmode" feature that just came out on Fire tablets is wonderful,and makes it a great buy though!Also Battery life on Amazon Fire 8" is incredible at 11-12 hours.

- Answer Pre-loaded? No. There are a lot more options for children’s apps on this kind of tablet since it’s not specifically designed for them. They also have more gigs to hold the apps. You can still sensor content and put restrictions on the device, as it’s what my husband and I do.
