Are the speakers a fairly good sounding speaker? null

They are fair, nothing special.

Speaker sound is great ... Fast tablet ... Great size .. It gets hot but I think is because all the games and software that's run in background but I haven't had any problem yet. My kids love it

Yes - I use it to watch Netflix/Hulu shows and it is very nice.
