Most mid-size tablets, including all of the premium Galaxy Tab S2 & S3, and all iPads, use a 4x3 form factor. This tablet, like the old Galaxy Tab Pros, has a 16x9 form. I think the longer, skinnier shape has two important advantages: it is easier to hold single-handed in the portrait orientation; and it is superior for displaying wide-screen videos in the landscape orientation. If you like the 4x3 form, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. are both on sale now. However, the first does not have premium specifications and the second is already a 2+ year old design. If you like the 16x9 form in a mid-size, mid-priced tablet that will still be relatively new in the year 2020, the Galaxy Tab 8.0 32GB would be a fine choice. It's already on my "wish list."
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Buying a tablet depends on what you are going to use it for. If you intend to use it for light gaming, surfing the web, and reading and sending emails, then this one is a solid choice. If you are a heavy gamer, and want to make it more productive by adding Office or other editors spend a little more and get the Tab S2. The Tab S2 has a faster processor (much faster than this one) and is better at gaming and productiveness. However this tablet is a solid choice if you don't want to spend too much money but for light productivity. The ultimate android experience is in the Tab s3, which features a great bright screen brighter than the 2 here, as well as USB Type C and fast charging. It also has a much faster processor and an S Pen included. Gaming is silky smooth on the tab S3Sand productivity is very high since the battery is about 13 hours. For the tab A 8.0 its about i think 9 to 10 hours on a charge. It all depends on what you are going to use it for.
