Just get the kindle paperwhite the samsung devices aren't glare resistant unlike the paperwhite.

Please try again later.I would say the only big difference would be tablets generally have glare issues, so if you're going to do a lot of poolside/outdoor reading you may not like a tablet as much, although I don't know the Kindle Fire HD screen that well. I personally love my Samsung tablet for the versatility it offers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a kindle too and the apps are limited. I like this tablet MUCH better. Reading on it is great too. You can download the kindle app, sign in and read right from your kindle library. Definitely better and better for the price!!
