With the device facing you the power button is the top button on the right side. Make sure that the device is charged, it should be fully charged before first use, and then hold the on/off button down for a second or two.

Press the home button if the device is in sleep and if the device is completely powered off then hold in the power button.

There's a button on the side on the top right above the volume. Hope that helps!
