Can you make a phone call thru the tablet? null

Yes you can make this a phone and a text message and it will also go to your voicemail and you can answer your voicemail messages through this Samsung Galaxy Tab a. I'm on T-Mobile and they have a special app and it does not cost any money. It is free however you have to be on WiFi and your phone will send the phone calls to this tablet. It's pretty cool if you're on T-Mobile I don't know if AT&T or Sprint or any of the other carriers have this special app. The only thing is when you do get a phone call or a text message or a voicemail message it keeps your sound whatever notification you put in and it keeps going until you answer it. It can drive you crazy at times laughing. The point is yes you can use this tablet as a phone and you can text message on this phone and you can even go to your voicemail. Now this is T-Mobile and it's called digital app. And it works pretty well when I have my tablet on. I use my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge as a hotspot I don't have WiFi in my house. But it works really well and yes your tablets a phone and it uses the same phone number that your cell phone uses which is cool and they don't charge you any money and you don't have to put it on a data plan or anything it's absolutely 100% free. Welcome to 2017 it's awesome. Thank you T-Mobile for making that app. I think Apple has it also on there new phone and their iPad Minis. It works really great but again and you better answer your text message or your phone because it will keep ringing until you do and it even shows the person who calls you or text message you. It shows you their picture and everything it's awesome

In general, you can not make a phone call on a tablet. That's why they cost less than phones. But, you can use software designed to turn a computer into a phone. This includes Messenger, which is part of Facebook. A tablet is really just a tiny PC that looks like a cellphone.
