The pen model uses an S pen. You can save anything you draw! Depends on your app of course, but I like S Note. I import photos and mark them up with the pen to see what changes would be like, remodeling and such.

You can write notes and draw with the S Pen. The pen does store in the top right corner.

With s pen in the description of the product means it has the s pen stored in the tablet. Yes sketches and notes can be saved. The tablet accepts up to a 128 GB mirco SD card adding plenty of storage.
