Able to take notes? I want to be able to take notes on the tab and need to know if resting my hand on the tab wil mess up writing with the S pen. I tried it on a Note phone and my hand could rest on the screen without ruining what I was writing. Will the same apply to this tablet?

This is the sole reason I bought this device. The palm rejection is EXCELLENT! No, it will not mess up your writing at all.

I use this tablet to take notes and haven't had any problems with my hand on the screen.

No, S-Pen has "palm rejection" and is pressure sensitive. It is as close to a physical writing instrument as you can imagine. You can typically try it our in the store to see if it meets your needs.

Yes its the same technology so it works the same. And ila lot mor surface area makes it a lot mor conducive for taking a lot of notes

It depends on the app., but for most, yes, there is palm rejection.

No, it can recognize the palm and ignore it. Only an issue when you do handwriting or drawing.
