• Its unlocked when you buy it, no contract required. You can use any carriers sim, Verizon has the best prepaid plans,thats what I use. You can just not use the LTE and use only wifi, makes no difference to the tab s or android, however LTE is faster.

• This tablet can be used with WiFi without a Verizon contract. If internet is not available then it will not work without internet without a Verizon contract.
