can I use an S Pen with this model? null

You can draw with your finger on doodle & picture's !!! I haven't played with all the features !!! It has a lot of nice apps to download & Samsung is no. 1 !!! I had an Tab A & I love this better !!!

I do not see the S Note program like my Note5 has, and I am not sure if it could be added.

No, the s pen doesn't work. Just get a good stylus.
