It combines. You can choose whether you want to save to the device or the external storage, but you would have the total of what is on the tablet PLUS whatever the size of the card is you use.

It would be 32GB + 128GB = 160GB minus 4GB for Android OS Marshmallow. This will give you about ~154GB of usable storage.

In computers total memory is never actual memory a 128 gb memory card is more like 120gb. As for your question what you see is 2 separate amounts 1 will be system total which means after the OS, apps and memory allocation your tablet phone or computer will take a chunk of that system memory. The other reading is memory card total like I said will be less than actual total.

It will combine, so you will still have the memory on the device, plus the micro sd card, for 160gb total. You can move some of the apps from the internal memory to the sd card as well.

You get both 128gb and 32gb.

Ultimately yes. However your SD card is separate storage, in addition to your 32 gig hard storage. Things on your tablet can be moved to your SD card when you format your new micro SD card.
