“Is the S4 waterproof like the S9 phone is? I intend some use for boating , for charting etc.”

• No this is not waterproof. There was a protector that I found that had the covers they stated they were waterproof. I didn't get it but think I will go back and order it. I have the turtle case and think it's not enough protection. Good luck
