For me it works very well for drawing. There are several apps on the Google Play Store, some are for free. I'd do some research to find the app that's right for you. Personally, I have been using SketchBook - draw and paint. The s pen feels like a real pen. I would recommend getting an artist glove if you don't already have one. It covers your pinky, ring finger and thumb so the tablet doesn't accidentally sense your hand while you're working. You can find them inexpensive on Amazon.
