  • QuestionWhat, if any, software is preloaded, such as Kindle, Outlook, internet browsers, etc.? If I buy this from Best Buy, will there be technical support at purchase to get the tablet set up?

    • Answer When you turn on S9, essentially it will walk you through the set up...in as liitle as 10-15 minutes...your new S9 is set up...either over air/wifi or cable (USB C to USB C cable provided.) It comes with all the basic you need and any apps that you want you can download from the play store. If you have a previous tablet or phone you can download all your data/apps over to your new S9 with the Smart Switch app (preloaded on S9)... you might have to load the app on your old device from the play store. Very easy...I didn’t require any technical support, so I can't advise whether Best Buy will provide any support...but in the past, they have kindly help set up my first Samsung S4 phone, now I have a Samsung S22 phone.

    • Answer Your battery life is going to depend on so many things: how bright you make your display, whether or not your Bluetooth is on, and if you have your location on. And much of this can occur whether or not you're actively using the device. Then, there are resource consuming apps that will add to the strain and drain of your battery. The battery should outlast the hands-on time for most people, and, as with most electronic devices, the battery will lose it's optimal performance after a few hundred hours. My middle schooler plays Roblox and streams spotify for 6-9 hours a day, and the battery only loses 2/3 of it's charge. I also keep FT location tracking on in case the device is lost or stolen. Based on these factors, the device-when brand new and running on moderately heavy usage will last 15-16 hours consecutively.

  • QuestionWhy does Samsung make a tablet like this and not have a port for headset only wireless, Not every one has internet. Like the S9 11”with pen, that I will have to return cause unable to use headphones. Or is there an adapter to buy for headphones.

The adapter provides Ultra High Quality Audio by converting digital files to analog (up to 24bit/192kHz). Not only do we have adapters, but we also offer type C headphones as well that are compatible with your device. The regular Keyboard Cover and the Keyboard Cover Slim, which are compatible with the Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra. Additionally, there are keyboard covers available for the S8 and S7 series tablets. The Tab S9 also features Transcript Assist with Galaxy AI, which helps in creating quick and easy transcripts of recorded meetings, lectures, and conversations, and provides instant summaries.     • Answer This super nice tablet came preloaded with Microsoft 365. You can find this in the Microsoft Apps group shown here along with One Drive and Outlook. Microsoft 365 is a subcription based app that replaced Office several years ago. In this app, you'll be able to create, view and edit Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, Powerpoint presentations and more.
