I just purchased this item today. In order for it to charge, you must use a fast charge usb plug. I tried with one I had at my desk and it did not work. i grabbed the one that came with my note 9 and it works perfectly!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It works great with the Samsung Note 9 but it does not charge the phone. I also tried this with my Samsung Galaxy Book 1 and 2 and the Samsung Tab S4- works great but will not charge any of these devices.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently purchased a Note 9. I am a cord cutter, and I wanted to watch programming from my phone on my store brand 4k/HDR television. I performed some research and discovered that this product could to just that, so I purchased it a few weeks ago, and I am excited to report that this product is compatible with the Note 9. You can use the Dex feature. However, I don't use Dex for applications that are not optimized for it, like Netflix. I use the regular viewing screen. The picture quality is amazing! Unfortunately, the Note 9 cannot be charged while using this product. You can probably watch a couple of hour-length programs before having to recharge the Note 9, so binge watching is not an option at this time. That's the only minus that I would give this product. I am looking forward to technology development that will solve this problem. At this point, except for the recharging issue, I like this product and would definitely recommend purchasing it.
