If you purchase a 2 year extended warranty through Best Buy, you can refund or exchange your watch if it breaks or does not function properly. You can also upgrade to a more expensive watch by paying any applicable price difference. I believe the exception is if your watch is destroyed by fire. In this case you may not be able to get a new watch, but I may be incorrect. H If you do not have an extended warranty, I believe you can return your watch after a certain number of days. Not sure of the number of days, since I have always purchased an extended warranty..
