Yes that is correct, with the LTE service on the watch and your carriers watch and phone sync. You can make and receive calls and text separate from your cell phone. With your carriers sync those calls and text will appear to be coming from your cell phone number. You will not need your phone with you to do this either. Hope that helps.

The watch will allow you to connect to a Bluetooth headset and make and receive calls without your phone. If you have music uploaded to your watch you can listen to music while using a Bluetooth headset from your watch.

Since then, she has been able to connect her LG headset to her watch. And the calls connect to it with or without her phone present. Hope this helps.
